But he said to me,”My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Corinthians 12:9 ESV
What a beautiful image of Christ. I think this also speaks of the purpose of strength. Strength was made to support weakness. Parents nurturing babies. In time the child maturing in strength then takes care of the aging parents. What good is strength if it has no purpose? This isn’t just true of physical strength. This pertains to giftings and talents. Is your faith great? Then stand in the gap for those wavering or struggling with their current portion in life.
We are all called to be someone’s strength. We are to be imitators of Christ. If you are breathing you still have a purpose on this earth. What are you passionate about? Heck, if your only answer is football then invite someone over and have a connection while watching a ball game. Be intentional.
The United States? Currently, the most unity we have is being upset about something. Build relationships and share your gifting.
